Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code 2021

The Code (recently updated)sets the requirements advertisers must meet to ensure the marketing and promotion of their therapeutic goods is conducted in a manner that promotes the quality use of the product, is socially responsible and doesn't mislead or deceive the consumer.

Therapeutic Goods Act

Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, 1 SEPT 2021

The Act sets out the legal requirements for the import, export, manufacture and supply of therapeutic goods in Australia.

It details the requirements for listing, registering or including medicines, medical devices and biological products on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), as well as many other aspects of the law including advertising, labeling, and product appearance.
